Apply a theme to the current page
A theme is a collection of unified design elements and color schemes. You can apply a theme to the current page so that your page has an attractive appearance. The theme's styles, colors, and graphics will replace those that are currently being used.
After applying a theme to the current page rather than to the web, the page will no longer use the web's default theme setting. Therefore, any theme changes you apply to the web (the All pages option) will not affect this page, but rather only those pages that are using the default setting. To set a page to use the web's default theme setting, apply the Default theme to the page.
- In Page view, open the page to which you want to apply a theme.
- On the Format menu, click Theme.
Under Apply Theme to, Selected pages is selected.
- In the list, click the theme you want to apply (to apply the web's default theme setting, click Default). A preview of the theme is displayed under Sample of Theme.
